Hantaran

They say hantaran is a must in every weddings. Well it really depends on which wedding and it REALLY depends on the individual/family. As for me, hantaran (dulang) has never been something pivotal for my family. Even during my engagement we didnt even plan to have a hantaran dulang. Only at the last minute his mom wanted to give this and that. So being a Malay, it wouldnt seem nice not to be giving anything in return. We ended up giving him 3dulangs which consists of (sirih junjung, kain and cupcakes) which wasnt even decorated properly (ooopsss). And his family gave me 5 dulang( fruits, kain, ring, sirih junjung, cake).

It was so weird and awkward. But there was no issue from both families :). Alhamdulillah. No intention of spoiling the custom and tradition, but we do it OUR WAY :). Yes people might make a remark, but honey...adat is just an adat.

As for our wedding, we came up with a plan for the hantaran. Hopefully everything will go as planned :)

HIV Test

Sebut je HIV test, im positively sure 80% of B2B will freak out. Bukan nya takut sebab nak kena jap...tp disebabkan perkataan 'HIV' itself makes it a lil creepy giving u goosebumps.
Alhamdulillah the process was simple than i thought it would be. Managed to book a session at Klinik Kesihatan Ampang. Most clinics would want u to call, come by to the clinic to isi2 borang (book the session), and come another day for the test. But Ampang clinin was diff. He managed to make an appointment through the phone. We could come by anytime from 2-4pm. We came exactly at 2pm. There was a guy, and a couple. Isi borang, bayar rm1/pax. Waited for our turn. Went to the counter and handed our finger tip, and japppp. Mmg tak sakit langsung. Tp mmg terkezzzuuttss. After a while the nurse will give the result to us, and we had to place it in a provided basket and wait for our turn for consultation. The person just ask 'bg 3 cara bagaimana HIV boleh merebak'. CET! Bila d jwb...'OK boleh kawin'. Yeay! But i think if the person was HIV positive, then they would ask on the personal Qs. You know what i mean.
